Clinical workflow platform
Overview
Since 2014, we have continuously evolved a professional platform used by certified clinicians across multiple countries and time zones—from Europe to the Middle East and APAC—still in production today.
The portal standardizes intake and ordering, embeds 3D plan review into the active-case flow, and exposes step-based timelines—supported by connected commerce, back-office integrations, and long-term infrastructure operations.
The problem
- A complex clinical workflow needed to feel simple: documentation, ordering, plan review, and progression in one place.
- International usage required multi-language UX and consistent operations across markets and distribution models.
- Orders had to flow into internal manufacturing workflows with traceability, deadlines, and operator handoffs.
- The stack had to remain resilient and maintainable for years—without turning operations into a full-time fire drill.
What we built
- Onboarding + account verification for professionals and clinics
- Case dashboard with search, sorting, and clear “new case” entrypoint
- Structured intake with required clinical forms, validations, and completeness checks
- Active-case view: 3D plan review + step timeline with expected timings
- Restricted B2B commerce connected to professional identity
- Billing/shipping address book with sync across modules
- Administrative surfaces for invoices, payments, promotions, and documents
- Education/academy area for training content and certifications
Operations & infrastructure
We owned the full cloud/system layer across multiple Linux VMs—from initial provisioning and deployment to monitoring and continuous maintenance.
Reliability and business continuity were core requirements. We implemented HA-oriented patterns with a strong focus on the database layer (MariaDB), backed by disciplined operational routines (backups, tested restores, upgrades, and hardening).
Integrations
The ecosystem included bidirectional sync with internal systems—an ERP layer and a separate on-prem production workflow system hosted inside a secure LAN environment (details withheld).
That integration path enabled clean handoffs from ordering to manufacturing cycles and shipment, while keeping traceability and operational visibility across the chain.
