About Igino Mazzola
Founded in Genoa on 31 July 1918, Igino Mazzola S.p.A. began by importing canned meat, spices, and coffee. In 1938, it expanded into canned fish production with the acquisition of a factory in Marano Lagunare. Today, it is a specialist in preserved seafood and remains under the leadership of the founding family.
In 2018, the company's centenary was marked by a dedicated postage stamp from the Italian State Mint. In 2020, the Italian Chambers of Commerce recognized it as an “Impresa Storica d'Italia.”
The brands
Introduced in 1958, Maruzzella takes its name from “Maruzzella,” the song by Renato Carosone.
Capri draws inspiration from the island, pairing simplicity and lightness with a varied seafood range.
